We helped the LFF to recover solidarity contribution

FIFA, Football

ClaimsInsSport team succesfully represented the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) in negotiations with FC Barcelona regarding solidarity contribution in connection with the transfer of Paulinho.

Paulinho was a former player of FC Vilnius, which once was affiliated with the LFF. FC Vilnius ceased to participate in organized football after the season of year 2008.

In accordance with Article 2 para 3 of the Annexe 5 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (Regulations) the LFF was entitled to receive the proportion of solidarity contribution in connection with the Paulinho’s transfer from Guangzhou Evergrande to FC Barcelona.

FC Vilnius, which is not dissolved yet, has also claimed the solidarity contribution from FC Barcelona. However, the LFF with the help of our team proved its entitlement to the solidarity contribution and consequently reached the settlement agreement with FC Barcelona.
