Lithuanian tennis star Ricardas Berankis entrusted ClaimsInSport team to represent him in his legal battle against its sponsor “Vytautas”, which failed to meet its financial commitments under the sponsorship agreement.
Berankis has bought a lawsuit against “Vytautas” to the district court.
The case is extremely important to the whole Lithuanian sports community, since the court will have to give its legal interpretation on concept of the commercial sponsorship agreement the issue which has not been discussed in Lithuanian court before.
The court decision is expected in July, 2019.
